Our children at the Tuwapende Watoto Home

Martha was born on December 4, 2002, in Dar es Salaam and has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children’s home since May 19, 2006. After attending Ghome Secondary School, she pursued her training as a kindergarten teacher at the Royal Montessori International College, which she successfully completed in November 2023. She then worked as a Montessori kindergarten teacher at the Tuwapende Watoto kindergarten. She is currently pursuing a teacher training program at the Open University of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.

Born on December 4, 2002 in Dar es Salaam, Maria has been living in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since May 19, 2006. She attended Ghome Secondary School and is now completing a college degree in Human Resource Management.

Born on November 2, 2001, in Dar es Salaam, she has been living in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since August 25, 2006. She graduated from Baobab High School and is studying international relations at the Mozambique Center for Foreign Relations.

Petro was born on February 13, 2004, in Morogoro and has lived in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since March 28, 2007. Petro attended Baobab Secondary School until the fourth grade and is now studying at Efatha Seminary College in Bagamoyo. He will graduate in May 2026.

Born on April 4, 2004, in Morogoro, Kelvina has been living in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since March 25, 2007. She completed the fourth grade at Baobab Secondary School in November 2022 and subsequently attended Loyola High School. She is studying international relations at the Mozambique Center for Foreign Relations.

Born on July 27, 2004, in Dar es Salaam, Julius has been living in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since June 1, 2008. He attended Ghome Secondary School and completed the two-year ICT course at the Tuwapende Watoto vocational school. He is currently completing various internships in the private sector before starting Level 3 of the ICT course.

Nancy was born on September 21, 2004, in Arusha and has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since June 2011. After successfully graduating from Baobab Secondary School, she began her studies at the Institute of Finance and Management at the University of Dar es Salaam.

Zawadi was born on September 28, 2004, in Dar es Salaam. She has lived in our children's home since March 28, 2007. In November 2022, she completed the fourth grade at Baobab Secondary School with the national exam. Afterwards, she attended Loyola High School in Dar es Salaam. She is currently studying at the Institute of Social Work, specializing in Labour Relations.

Gabriel successfully completed the 4th year of the QT (Qualifying Test Repeater) program at Tuwapende Watoto Secondary School in December 2025. He began his vocational training as an electronics technician in early February 2026.

Kevin was born on June 14, 2007, in Dar es Salaam. He has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since March 1, 2012. He successfully completed the fourth year of Baobab Secondary School with Division 2. He is currently in the fifth year of secondary school and will move on to the sixth year in the summer of 2026.

Vanessa was born on August 6, 2007, in Dar es Salaam. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since February 15, 2011. In December 2025, she successfully completed the 4th grade QT (Qualifying Test Repeater) at Tuwapende Watoto Secondary School. At the beginning of February 2026, Vanessa began her vocational training as an IT specialist.

Born on September 9, 2007 in Tanga, Luqman has been living in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since June 1, 2016. He attends the 4th grade of Baobab Secondary School.

Elizabeth was born on January 14, 2008, in Dar es Salaam and has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since July 14, 2009. She is currently in the 4th grade at Efatha Seminary Secondary School in Pwani, Bagamoyo.

Christopher was born on October 10, 2008, in Dar es Salaam. He has lived in a children's home since March 1, 2012. He is currently in the 4th grade at Baobab Secondary School.

Peter was born on March 12, 2009, in Dar es Salaam. He has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since February 15, 2011. He is currently in the 4th grade at Baobab Secondary School.

Aisha was born on March 13, 2009, in Dar es Salaam. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since March 1, 2012. In December 2025, Aisha successfully completed the 4th grade QT (Qualifying Test Repeater) at Tuwapende Watoto Secondary School. Vanessa began her vocational training as an IT specialist in early February 2026.

Baraka was born on May 3, 2009. He has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since March 1, 2012. He is currently in the second grade at Hope and Joy Secondary School. Next school year, he will be in the third grade of secondary school. The school location is still to be determined.

Asteria was born on June 2, 2014. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since April 2024. She is currently in the 6th grade of the Tuwapende Watoto primary school.

Nasri was born on April 4, 2013. He has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since April 1, 2017. He attends the 7th grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Ema was born on April 27, 2013. He has lived in the Tuwapende Watoto children's home since April 1, 2015. He attends the 7th grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Daniela was born on December 11, 2013, and spent the last few years in an orphanage in Bunju A. She has been living at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since March 29, 2023. She attends the 6th grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Samson was born on November 16, 2014. He was taken in by the Tuwapende Watoto family on April 1, 2017, when he was two and a half years old. Samson attends the 5th grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Eveline was born on July 10, 2015, and spent the first few months of her life at the Msimbazi Children's Home. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since December 18, 2018. Eveline attends the 5th grade at the Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Vanessa was born on December 8, 2015, and spent the first few months of her life at the Msimbazi Children's Home. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since December 18, 2018. Vanessa attends the fourth grade at the Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Gloria was born on March 3, 2016. She was adopted by the Tuwapende Watoto family on October 10, 2016, at the age of 8 months. Gloria attends the 5th grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Khadija was born on March 29, 2016, and spent the first few months of her life at the Msimbazi Children's Home. She has been living at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since July 11, 2019. Khadija attends the fourth grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Brighton was born on March 22, 2016, and spent the first few months of his life at the Msimbazi Children's Home. He has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since July 11, 2019. Brighton attends the third grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Mishi was born on April 19, 2019, and spent her early years in another children's home. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since April 27, 2023. She attends the first grade at Tuwapende Watoto Primary School.

Rebeca was born on March 21, 2020, and spent her first months at the Mzimbazi Children's Home. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since March 25, 2023. Rebeca attends the Tuwapende Watoto Kindergarten.

Hamisi was born on February 1, 2020, and spent his first months at the Msimbazi Children's Home. He has been living at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since February 18, 2022. Hamisi attends the Tuwapende Watoto Kindergarten.

Hadija was born on February 1, 2020, and spent the first few months of her life at the Msimbazi Children's Home. She has lived at the Tuwapende Watoto Children's Home since February 18, 2023. Hadija attends the Tuwapende Watoto Kindergarten.
