Former residents and mothers of the children's home
“When children are young, give them roots; when they are grown, give them wings.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749–1832)
The foundation supports and guides orphans, abandoned children, and the children and young people we have taken in for several years until they complete their studies or vocational training. We help them find employment and then let them go their own way.
For orphans and abandoned children, the Tuwapende Watoto Foundation’s children’s home is their home. The doors are always open to them, and everyone is warmly welcomed.
