New Building at Bunju B
We have been renting the Children's home in Mbezi since January 2006, but long term it does not offer us enough space or ability to expand.
We had the opportunity to buy a piece of land in Bunju B, of about 12,000 m2, which is suitable for our project. Bunju B is situated between Dar es Salaam and Bagamoyo and is easily accessible by car. Although this area is developing fast, our plot of land lies in a quiet and beautiful area, especially suitable for our project. We have completed much of the project planning and if everything goes to plan, the diggers will be on site from mid July 2009.
The Project will be implemented in several stages:
The first phase includes the children's home, a wash house, two staff buildings, a kindergarten and a toilet block. In addition, the whole grounds must be secured with fencing and entrance gates. This is the most expensive phase, since we must order parts and equipment for the infrastructure.
